An outline
might be the skyline
but it changes in the
light.

I saw street signs
pointing the way to
better times, but they'd
been dubbed into
Cantonese

these are the dark days
the rise of the rock star
the electric car
the drone
the galaxy as in the phone

I chill out even in the Sun.

But the outline
the schematics perhaps
of our time
stay with me like an imprint
and if I squint hard enough
I can make it out.
