In darkness arth you as Polaris, my lodestar,
For in the cluttered skies shall I see you above,
When in this life I miss you, wherever you are,
I know that you’ll shine indefinitely, my love.
Your beauty, a beacon in this fair-lost land,
Your eyes celestial in the wake of starry nights,
Rejoicing when we walked hand in hand,
Only to cast the remembrance of summer bedight.
