Shadows kiss me good night
Dancing before my splayed lids
How could I ever ask them to leave.
So assembled so straightforward.
I can barely shut off the view
Of light wave after dark rolling cloud
Swallowing space
And then itself.
Patches of brown
Red
Black
Shadows kiss my eyes good night
Which is why I never sleep.
