Upon the blank paper slate
a world of light pencil sketches
unfolds before my eyes

Spiraling curls and striking lines
combine to form the image
hidden within my mind

As the picture comes into form
the world seems to blur
focused only on my craft
My work is worth the time I take
Art is my drive and a joy for me. It is what fuels me to get out of bed sometimes.
