Forgotten have we or just ignored
What futures for us the past has stored
What mysteries wait to be discovered
What treasures hidden to be recovered
The world is wide and the skies are vast
Looking inward for truth won't last
The world is not within, but without
So raise up your head and choose your route
Down the path of life, short though it be
It's worth it in the end if you ask me
