Congratulations, I see you’re doing well
Me? I’m hanging in there notwithstanding what befell me
The end of us and your going away
I’m trying to buck up, doing so in my own way
I’m not over you yet, that’s for another day
This is my happy face, and by the way
I still have some things of yours
I don’t need the lingerie
How should I return it?
It just gets in the way of my memories
The dragon I must slay
It’s not easy not remembering the things we did
Yes, it’s a beautiful afternoon
It’s funny running into you
Don’t assume I planned this
“Life is so random,” we used to say
Like two lovers who once were in love
Then each went their own way
