She pretends she's invincible,
She pretends his words don't sting,
She pretends that when he knocks her down,
That she can't feel,
I wish I could ease her pain,
But she avoids it,
She doesnt want anyone to know,
That she might need a hand,
I wish I could be strong for her,
I wish I could take her pain,
I wish she didn't cry herself to sleep at night,
I wish she hadn't had that fight,
