What does a rat think about when scurrying along
below starry sky?

Does it wonder what bugs and little animals it could find
to partake in an evening feast?
Or if there are any humans near by to go “eek a rat”?

Does it look at those rat hotels in parks and laugh
knowing they are way too smart for that trick?

Is it happy to be in the night breeze allowing its nose to lead it to a trash rat party at the other side of town?

DO THEY hang around in small groups listening
for the PIED PIPER
to come out and give their feet dance?

Is the rat thinking about celebrating by taking part in a full moon ceremony before they hit the garbage can?

Perhaps it’s contemplating how to stay far away from humans, as they have no clue on how smart they are.

For, most rat’s are more intelligent than dogs and make great pets but they don’t want that news to be passed around.

And as for taste, they taste like chicken but thats a secret they hope won’t get into mainstream media.... And prayed about often
I decided to do a few animal thoughts for fun. This is second in the series.
