The first snowfall
Makes its way
to the ground
as gentle
as silence
and it reminds me
that we are not
supposed to be here
Humans have stolen
the thunder on this Earth
and We keep rolling like
that proverbial freight train
out of order
insuring its extinction
because there is no one
at the helm anymore and
we are loud as ****.
