If I could write a poem of what Tedy means to me. My heart and mind would venture on a voyage across the open sea. Adventurous pirates, Tedy and I would be, setting forth on an early morning dawn. Seagulls squawking to and fro. Following us in any direction we may flow. For we have no certain course set ablaze. Following adventures the sunrise guiding our way. Treasure we have found is having one another around As we sail deeper into the open sea The current becomes turbulent, thunder grumbles fear rises in him and though I may smile fear is also in me Then Tedy reminds me Papa tells him he needs to pray for God the Father will give us endurance through all the crashing waves Tedy and I begin to pray As I say Amen The sun breaks through the clouds again We open our eyes and see ahead an Island awaits As we approach the Island in excitement of the adventure we continue to create "Tedy there may be a treasure awaiting we have never seen before" Tedy's eyes open wide as both of our imaginations soar Then Tedy and I would jump off the raft and we would see, alas Gramps and Papa cooking burgers on the grill Which indeed a treasure For our hungry tummies Awaiting to be filled A day of imagination with Granny can be Quite an adventure In the deep blue sea.
