There's a fire that dances
Whimsical and true
Encased in flesh
Quite beautiful

The flames burst from brown
Wide open in white
Everything she touches
Burst forth with life

Tempered by heart
Twice as warm as the flames
But raging with vitality
That nothing can tame

I gazed into this fire
Amazed with wonder
I danced to her tune
I felt the hunger

Laid open and bare
The fires consume
But I'd turn to ash with her
And smile in the plumes
