Memories, like confetti
inside breath's wind,
drifts gracefully.

Each vision captured
in hues of spiraling colors.

Every thought a vibration that tickles senses inside a mariage of dreams.

I was young once
with great promise
and grand dreams.
Now memories carry me,
as I parade
between nursing home walls.

Perhaps, soon
I shall plan my escape
to rise in a purple haze
and disappear in clouds.

  No one will know
my whereabouts,
or really care.

The air will be sweet
and birds shall throw confetti
at feet to welcome me.

There I will celebrate
and create new memories
in a symphony of love songs.
There I will be at peace.
