Wake up
Wake me up with your words.
Remind me that I'm still alive.
I woke from this hurricane.
I've been alone for a long time.
I feel I've been through a battle.
All my loose strings dangle cut.
I'm stuck in my head.
Feeling through my feet.
I can touch the wind;
Smell the nectar of the air.
Wake me up.
Don't let me sleep.
I know that there's hope;
I can feel it stuck in my throat.
I'm battered and smashed and I look like I've escaped a car crash.
Tell me you love me.
Tell me you care about me.
Tell me that I am not dead.
I'll go on and on
And on and on
And on till my days end if you
Wake me up.
