She secured a rope around her beating heart,

Restraining it from drifting away.

Although it gave her blisters,

She clung onto it night and day.

One day, she loosened the rope around her heart,

Stood on a wooden chair.

Fastened it around her neck,

And exhaled, "this is it, i swear."
