Flickering Light
I try to hide
That I lost my light
It's still inside
Just not in my eyes
My heart is heavy
Along with my soul
This lifestyle of mine
Has taken a toll
I'm always sick
Trying to stay cool
But it just doesn't stick
And I'm being a fool
I'm mostly sad
At odds with my spirit
My intuition says go
But I pretend not to hear it
#conflicted
#sad
#empty
#passionless
