You held my hands
when I was fragile.
Told me legends
of how you saved lives,
like a Knight in shining
armor. You'll save me,
you said. Believing
every word, I gave in.

You held the keys,
stored between your lips.
Said it'll grant me wishes.
But stars turned into dusts,
skies painted over lies.
You promised me a forever
and I was mesmerized.
But you're a curse I thought
was a treasure.
