Poems
Sep 2017
Attracted like a moth likes a flame
Go towards the light they told me
set yourself free they told me
be, they told me.
In the torchlight
a rabbit in the spotlight
stark and staring
wearing shivers for fur.
So
I shall be me
free or so they told me,
or a lucky charm to
hang on a key ring.
