Of angry fools
I am indulgent
allowing them
the air to unwind
and breathe again.

I hope and wait
to be their friend
to open up
the locked doors
that hearts guard,
those dark territories
that are concealed within.

I let them whisper.
Soft droplets
drop this
water kiss
of pain
that strangers
dismiss.

I am indulgent
because I love them
greasy, angry
mob mentality
the bane of me,
but in their artistry
I weep gently
hoping
that they will join me.
