She shares
my pillow.
We wallow
just so
through the morning
doing nothing.
like two flowers calm and still
absorbing light on the windowsill.
Fingers of vine
upon the bed they entwine.
Limbs placid and loose
all urgency cease.
Some just see a sunflower
others see a masterpiece.
