Nothing lasts forever,
So this sadness will pass.
So will the happiness and pain.
Once it's over, see what you've gained.
A new lesson, a new experience.
Sometimes we let it cloud your judgement
or rain on our parade.
If you think you don’t make a difference in this world,
remember one rain drop raises the ocean.
Forgetting all about the time spent
on our hopeless charades.
You never think about the big picture
but live in the present.
What is wrong with that is a lecture,
one that nobody remembers.
Never admitting you were wrong
but hoping everything is done.
You're never promised tomorrow,
so spend time wisely and stay strong.
