As I button up this plain shirt
On a mild Tuesday morning
It's good to know
That I can still smile without you

As I pour myself a glass of juice
And think of my children laughing
It's good to know
That I can still daydream without you

And as the days pass by swiftly
The pain you brought me bleeds away
And it's good to know
That life goes on without you
