I Had You
I don't know if he loves you more
I don't know how he makes you feel
I just know I saw tears in your eyes
From happiness that could not laugh
There was nothing left for you to give
You were everything a woman could be
And now you are gone away with him
How can it be true that there is more?
When we kissed you drew me near
The blood in your hands was mine
Not from a heart that was breaking
But the flesh where you buried your past
You never did belong to me my love
But desire was in the palm of my hand
Our exhaustion was all that was true
I won't ask, I know you remember
#love
