I see people giving in
to the bitterness of society
because they do not want to be like us
they do not want to feel.
they strip themselves from full emotion
and any abnormality
making them all the same.
when I see these people
I finally see
my value
my purpose
my worth,
my importance.
and how silly I have been
in denying their existence
when all this time
they have been standing right in front of me
waiting to be seen.

this is when my soul smiles
