Poems
May 2017
dimples
she wore that dress
to the dance
that black tight one
that's the one I
swept her off her
feet in
she swayed in front
of my shadow
with another
the music so loud
they didn't hear me
yell *******
at the top of my lungs
the lounges
still full
emptied when
I busted a 45
in the roof
she smiled
and kept dancing
alone on the floor
the stupidest woman
and the bravest
I ever saw
so I went out
bowed grabbed her hand
then swat busted in
the tempest of passion
had drowned me again
'tween her dimples
