What My Eyes See
My eyes,
They see the endearment of a mother,
They see the love of friends,
They see the smile of a girl.
However, my eyes,
They also see the despair of a girl,
They see how strong she is,
They see the pain she bears underneath her strong shell.
My eyes,
They see the reflect of her in the mirror.
They see the good days,
They see the bad days,
They see all.
