Worn out soles dragging through the pavement
bare eyes set on your shabby hands
grin to the sweet smell of my cheap perfume
take a second, cold wind blowing
in between the distance , offer your hand to mine
you know it's been a thousand years honey
vague dreams drove me all the way here
unknown fantasies traced a map for you
the wait was worth it
I take a step closer
fingertips meet
we hold our breath
an infinite moment, and then
worlds collide
a million colours beneath my eyelids
you are everything
in the middle of the road
the sand aside your classy car
every molecule in this vast desert
disappears
it was worth it sweet rollercoaster
the wait was worth it

This is my favorite from what I've written
I wrote it for the love of my life
Whoever that is
