Do with my heart, and soul,
whatever you will,

I am as dry as an ancient bone,
my aching heart
has no more blood to spill.

Burn my broken wings to ashes,
I no longer have the strength to fly,

I am past the point of trying,
I am dead inside,
only my body--my soul's vessel,
is now yet to die.

Do with my heart, and soul,
whatever you will,

This dark, empty, aching void
has consumed me,
my sorrow I will leave solely for you
in my Dying Will and Testament;
A promiseΒ I am dying to fulfill.
