Unnecessary details
I could play violin for you
or knock out a hymn or two
just give me a clue what you'd
like.
A gravy boat sailed at dawn
into the eye of a storm and
that was the day Jesus
was born,
coincidence?
She winks at me
thinks I'm Nijinsky
and plays the piano
like Rachmaninov.
Seamlessly dreaming
she brings me
coffee with cream in when
I only want milk.
