I wish she knew
I wish she knew
How the way her hands glide like pale doves
To cover her face when she laughs
Makes my heart melt
How she smiles
And suddenly the world will never
Be good enough
For me
How I would hold her hand
And kiss her tears away
In the dark, freezing my skin in the rain
Droplets collect on blue window panes
So clear and calm and beautiful
