I can live in a world
where your God does rule
And if I am one of those brandished a fool
But can you live a world void
Of all the faith you have employed
Where we are here
Truly alone
And humanity not piety
Sets the common tone

I can live with your fears
Your preconceptions
But how would it be
If you were  free
Of all of your discerning deceptions
Could you survive
Would your dignity take a dive
Could you embrace the flamboyant
Or would it all become so abhorrent

The risks of reason
The tricks of treason
We all can become too attached
To the ideals our lives have hatched
Tangent away from a unified vision
Settling for nothing more than our selfish disposition

We can remember our history
But it should not be the way we choose to continue
We can live together
If we share an experience not based around
A biased point of view
Yes to the freedom of expression
But no to it's parasitic self righteous procession
If this world were divine
Then it wouldn't be yours
And it wouldn't be mine
It would be ours
And we all would shine
