Bring me a jug of my home made brew,
a pipe full of baccy and some I can chew,
that'll do me for now.

Later
when they burnt out the sodbusters
and Custer had his last stand
I held up my hands and
said,
blame it on me.

Nations are to big to be born.
we hew them from granite
and
salt them with goodness
but
they all turn bad
in time.

Back to the baccy and brew
and thinking of things
I should do,
but they can wait,

and sorry or not
George Armstrong got
what was coming.
