A taste of Spring in January
The trees could be tricked into early
blooms , avid gardeners hypnotized
into planting vegetables a bit soon
We've been waiting for the daffodils with baited breath
Wiping off the hummingbird feeders , cleaning
the bird bath
Cleaning up the smoker , painting the porch swing ,
sweeping off the drive , enjoying the warm nights* ...
