Jan 2017
To an insignificant bug that's being nagging at my dreams.
There's no right way
To communicate,
Is what you told me.
I told you there's a plethora
Of wrong ways.
You told me
That you can't love someone
If you see their flaws,
Essentially that's what you said.
I explained that that's not what love is.
To this day I worry and care for you,
To this day I think about what I could have said
To make you stay.
But that's the thing,
Friends can break your heart too.
And ****,
Did you stomp all over mine,
Right?
The hypocrisy of it all,
I cover it with bitterness
And insults,
Because I can't understand,
I won't understand
The hypocrite you've become.
I refuse to acknowledge
That at one point
Maybe you did care
Maybe you were good.
I'm stubborn,
You know.
And horribly vindictive.
