It's quite frightening how quickly
courage slips away.
One day you turn a corner and realize
that it isn't with you anymore.

How easy it is to forget how to
just breathe and brush off your worries.

When you wake up covered in responsibility, and priorities
instead of confetti and new clothes.

Parents always say you grew up before their eyes,
but haven't we grown up behind our's?
