You took my hand and led me soft
or' dale and Heath and rocky croft
our arms outstretched we stood aloft

and you asked me
                                  would I jump?

Your heart as made me Icarus
and kisses felt so amorous
to lift me gently over us

as I answered
                         without words.

My fall was one of sheer descent
but not an action I repent
for this my love was only meant

to show I know
                         Your arms outstretched

           would catch me.
