Absolution
There are days upon days
where I have slept under the pale birch trees
Evenings where the sun made love to the earth
as it lowered itβs warm embrace upon it
Nights to whom Iβve heard songs of absolution
ring out from the bar stool seats of confession
Such is the way of the world
As routine as the tides
