came round
to where my skin had felt
and exploded out
in a spasming
short intense like
electric jolt
from outside to my gut
I had a weird look
on my face (i bet)
but somehow did not seem to care
when this feeling ended
i got sleepy
and needed a cigarette
folded my insides back into
my gut
acted tough (though I was  then
a baby)  
crawled away from the wet spot
and held her
tenderly
