Where my life takes its bidding
Is the simplest place I can find
To listen to a conversation
Is to know how to eat or to fight
I dopped a tear off at the door
I only wanted to smile at nothing
It was not as hard as I imagined
As I left my tears begged to stay
I would rather share a quiet bottle
Than a very loud glass of pride
I can fade away with happy patience
For time now is to live not impress
