Torrid mangled hair
Dark gnarled talons
Sunken features
And hollow thoughts

The steeples all have fallen
Under the pressure
Of weighted prayers
And the dead souls that spoke them

Communion with the beast
Only brought forth
A more vile form
Of corruption and emptiness

The nightmare it wrought
will stir unending
Throughout all dreams
Lest the church be rebuilt

Upon the bones of ages
