Oct 2016
a string, i call him
not strong
not thick
not even sturdy

with every strum,
i stumble upon
with every shake,
i start to flake

as i walk through
between yes and no,
as i pass through
over stop and go,

determined
to slit,
to cut,
or even to chop

whichever you choose
i'm gonna let you loose

no more twines,
of yours and mine
no more strands,
of ifs and buts

finally,
firm and settled
to be free
and untangled.
random.
