mother reclaims
prying from greedy fingers
taking back what's hers
so no traces linger
seed armies germinate
roots infiltrate
tight spaces
crack and expand
return to rubble
the creation of man's hands
is strength in compression
but tension can't withstand
the once massive now abandoned detroit automobile manufacturing plants are being reclaimed by mother nature and in less than 100 years will be reduced to rubble.
