Recurring nightmare;
I bleed from the mouth and you
slowly disappear.

Love manipulates
as formless desperation
seeking an answer.
I say, “I love you.”
Healing the old scars to pave
way for the new ones.

I say, “I’m leaving.”
Opening the new wound to
breathe finality.

A suicide king,
too heartless for sadism
but once was human.

I once was thoughtful,
I believe in two heavens
that burn like candles.

Slowly, dull, gently.
I believe in two heavens,
laying down awake.
