Echo cries
No longer human
We start it
Mountains reflect it
Meadows accept it
Then fading away
Where rock slides come to rest
And streams empty themselves
Into the human heart
Never a wasteland of indifference
Only a place to begin again
The birthplace of sound
Anguished and joyful
