Hey there, stranger
Listen so it will be clearer
As winter slowly fades
Spring must be there always
As the moon finds its way home
Sun will take its place
As you feel the pain of your wound
It will soon drift away

Hey there
Good-looking stranger
Look at me
But not intently
Open your eyes
Be brave look at me
Be strong and see
All that's been waiting

From the stars above
Glistening through the dark
To this brown soil
Ready to be stepped on
From the birds
Flying freely up above
To these little earth worms
Living down under

Look at me
There's someone out there
Better than her
Look at me
Can't you see?
I'm here waiting
Years and years had passed
But the feeling, it won't just go away
