Kelleytown's lowlands are steaming
from thirty second showers on the
hour , enough to settle the dust but
ne'er even close to removing this flannel
shirt protecting my hide from a Sun
way high , picking okra growing larger by
the minute fighting thick air and heat
bad enough to cook an egg outdoors on
a flat iron skillet
Wasp working the tops , 'Skeeters' down low
Pod rash running up both wrist with ten more
rows to go* ....
