It never started with a hi
Neither did it end with a goodbye
Tumbling through space and time
Always bothered by the question, why?

Why continue this pursuit?
Why be so persistent?
Why put in so much effort?
Why not just give up?

And no it didn't stop at that
Trailing behind the first came another
In no manner less intriguing than its brother
What will it be like when it's all over?

Will it be like spring ?
Full of fragrant bloom
Or will it be like winter ?
Dull, hard and cold

The questions unanswered
The perpetual tumbling continues
With no end in sight
Oh only if she replied!!
