Monolith
It stands...
alone
that monolith.....
That monument.....to things past-
Memories
resurface
..........
each time I cross its wake -
"Once upon a time"
..........it says to me
Reminding me-
of the
"good things," good times
It keeps
messages
Pictures
....
The "DOOR".................................
of my refrigerator"

*what would we do without those door magnets.*
