Elusive Love
Love isn't something
That grows on a tree
You can't buy it
But it isn't free
It can come
At a high cost
But without it
We'd be lost
You're not going to find it
On a shelf in a store
Won't be lying
There on the floor
Isn't going to be
In any book
Not something
You can cook
Coming to you
In many ways
It'll find you
One of these days
And when it does
Don't push it away
Let it fill your heart
And it'll be here to stay
