Listening to the Cardboard Empire with -
gray day rain pools , shadow figurine -
ancestors trapped in dusky tree lines
Irreverent city banter , ideals shifting
right of center , selfish , twelve coated
worthless brick entities
Working the wishing well for pennies
Finding home with a cart
Walking back to start* ......
