Today​ ​the​ ​sky​ ​is​ ​too​ ​blue
perhaps​ ​even​ ​the​ ​trees
have​ ​a​ ​sad​ ​heart.
Their​ ​leaves​ ​catching
moisture​ ​from​ ​the​ ​humid​ ​air.
and​ ​dripping​ ​it​ ​like​ ​tears
onto​ ​a​ ​cracked
​ ​parched​ ​earth​ ​below.
perhaps​ ​I​ ​am​ ​too​ ​blue
​ ​like​ ​the​ ​sky.
or​ ​maybe​ ​it​ ​is​ ​just  
something​ ​about ​the​ ​wind,
